Women and even men love to look pretty.

With gorgeous K-pop and K-drama Korean celebrities looking all luminescent and elegant in our favourite video or drama series, it’s no wonder Korean cosmetics is fast gaining popularity. After all, they’re better suited to our Asian skin compared to famous American cosmetic brands.

However, it seems retail shops in Singapore have not caught up to the trend yet with just a select few shops offering a limited range of Korean cosmetics. Or if these shops do carry Korean cosmetics, the prices of the products are priced more expensively.

For those who are keen on trying out authentic Korean cosmetics without having to fly over to Korea yourself, we’ve compiled the top 5 online Korean cosmetics sites for you to shop at!

For illustration purposes, we will be comparing these 4 products across the different sites.

Conclusion:

Cheapest to most expensive in terms of product prices:

KoreaDepart –> IBBI –> WishTrend* –> Jolse –> YesStyle

*WishTrend has different products from the other sites making it difficult to compare. However for the unique range of products that they do sell, they seem to be ranked average in pricing.

*~* Our recommendation *~*

Check KoreanDepart out for their low prices and vast variety of cosmetic brands and products. The only downside of KoreanDepart is their delivery policy. Requiring a minimum spending of USD 200, we suggest a big single purchase or group buys in order to get the free delivery with EMS (inclusive of good tracking features).

Alternatively, you can choose IBBI as well. Though KoreanDepart has lower prices and a wider variety, IBBI’s delivery policy is much more favourable. Requiring only USD 50, you will be entitled to free shipping. This is recommended if you do not mind paying more for product prices but less for shipping.

That’s about it! Go be beautiful. 😛
